Xiong started out in the Chinese based MMA Promotion KunLun where she dominated all her opponents, Most by TKO inside the first round. Her parents supported her and she pursued a Carrer in Martial Arts. She had to leave her family behind, Not so easy for Xiong as family is everything to her. She always dreamt of becoming a World Champion, So in order to do so, she had to relocate to Beijing to focus on her career, but with that came sacrifice.
At the age of 18 she trained in weight lifting before transitioning to Boxing, where she was on the Chinese National team.
